The new Purgos Security feature gives the purgos administrator an additional level of control over the computers that are managed by the purgos administration software. Previously if a user had access to the purgos server he or she would then have full access to all the computers that were managed by the purgos server. This is no longer the case. In this version of Purgos administrators can grant server rights as well as agent specific rights to users or groups of users on a server specific basis or for individual managed computers.
Server security can be managed from the purgos console and is accessible from the Edit menu under "Server Security.
Once the server's security page is displayed, specific rights can then be granted or denyed at a server level to specific users or groups.
